It's called "friendship". Don't ask.

Landlocked. Yup, and landlocked you're not. See, there's a big body of water over there and you thought, "I love the water. Why not swim?" So you test the waters. Nope, you didn't THINK about the value of land. If anything, you just thought of testing the waters and then deciding, but that's basically it. See thinking is different from testing the waters. Thinking requires time but testing the waters entails dipping your foot in it and then choosing between staying on land or submerging yourself in water.

See, in this case, the land becomes your fallback. Okay, so you're sick of the land but you can't get rid of it. Therefore, you decide to try the water. In this case, you use the land first until something better (like the water) comes around or at least makes itself visible.

So you fall in love with it. Now what? You test the temperature (just to make sure. You know how much of an awful "sigurista" you are) and when you realize "oh seems like I can get myself in", you leave the land, disgusted of it, and then submerge yourself in the water. But then, if and when the water has left you cold, you get out of it and try to warm yourself again on land. In this case, the land can't escape it cause it should always be around.

In this sense, it's the land that you step on. It's the land that takes you to the see all wonderful sites. It's the land who gives you the warmth you need until you're ready to dip yourself again in water. And in your case, I'm the land.

Gee, who knew I'd be the first land to walk out on man? Hahaha! Yes, that's possible.
